Unabridged Audiobook
The storyline was okay, a somewhat sweet foray through time and memories, coming to grasp with why some choices in life were difficult and maybe not as straightforward as they seemed, and reaching forgiveness with oneself and those around them. I didn’t like it as much as her first novel, Collected Regrets of Clover. The main narrator was fantastic. It’s the same soothing voice who did Sybil Van Antwerp in The Correspondent. It’s worth listening to just to hear her again, if you enjoyed Sybil.
A different sort of story about women who are 89 and have been friends since they were children.
