Unabridged Audiobook
“I did like the book overall, but a few things got on my nerves. I got a bit annoyed when the narrator talked like Simón, because I couldn’t picture the way they described him with the narrator’s voice. Lacey was also annoying in how she let herself get into trouble all the time; she came across as a bit of a pushover, and it was hard to feel bad for her when she let so much of it happen. So many things felt unbelievable that I ended up getting annoyed with them, even though I still enjoyed the book as a whole.
Loved it. Great plot twist, and endearing use of powerful women supporting each other. I wish there were more
Heartwarming and exciting, a great story of women supporting women.
Absolutely loved it
The story was decent but dragged out. I listen while working so it was good for that, not too detailed for a focused listen. However the thing that made me turn it off over and over was the narration. The voices grated so badly on my nerves, the high pitched, whining, screeching voices - YUCK not my favorite narration but definitely the worst I’ve heard.
