Unabridged Audiobook
I needed a good escape listen, and one that included horses was JUST THE TICKET. I've read Natalie's Eventing series, but this was a really fun departure. Exactly right balance of horse-stuff and real-life-stuff, this just really filled the hole in my heart I needed. Current and previous horse-girls need apply, this book will either bring you right back to the barn or have you nostalgic for the days where you first fell in love with your horse.
This is the first audiobook I have ever listened to. I wasn’t sure I was going to like listening rather than reading as I am a reading fiend. I had a crazy 11 hr commute and I decided to try this book as company. Boy am I glad I did! I had previously read the ebook but listening to it was a whole different experience. The narrator did a great job of bringing the characters to life and it allowed me the distraction of being ‘part of’ the book while driving. Even bumper to bumper traffic was no biggie as I was engrossed in listening to the book. I highly recommend especially if you’ve never delved into listening to a book before.
This book is amazing!! It is a fun listen with the narrator and the book itself! If you are an old horse good it is a great inspirational tale about getting back into the world of horses. If you are a current horse girl or adult amateur it is still a great listen. I look forward to listening to the second book!
