Grafted: Eco-Thriller – Science Fantasy – Environmental Fiction

What if the forest wasn’t just alive… but watching?

Dr. Ione Lockwood has built her life on logic, data, and control. A brilliant botanist on the verge of a career-defining Amazon expedition, she has no patience for myths—especially the ones her late grandmother believed.

But when she inherits the mysterious Silvanus Preserve, a vast old-growth forest in Northern California, everything begins to unravel.

The forest isn’t just an ecosystem.

It’s a consciousness.

At its heart lies Oren, an ancient forest entity bound to a living tree known as the Heartwood. Wounded centuries ago by a betrayal rooted in Ione’s own bloodline, Oren is fading—and something far worse is coming.

Enter Prometheus Industries, a powerful biotech corporation led by visionary CEO Cyrus Kress. His goal is not conservation, but control: to extract the forest’s biological resonance and unlock the secret to human immortality.

As science collides with myth, and technology wages war against nature, Ione is forced into an impossible choice:

Remain human…

or become something greater.

GRAFTED is a gripping eco-thriller blending science fiction, environmental fantasy, and psychological transformation—perfect for readers who love ancient forests, biotech conspiracies, and powerful female protagonists.
