Having not read the previous books in this series I felt a little unsure of how ready I was for this book. Surprisingly, I foubd that Great by choice needs little to no background reading of the previous books in the series. In itself, I found Collins work to be an informative and helpful read. The principals of the book have been a help to me in my own leadership roles, eapecially the '20 mile march' section. Perhaps Collins isn't the best choice of reader as he is a little on the slow side, but that may well be a matter of preference. All in all, this is a solid read with some important takeaway lessons for any aspiring leader, especially in such turbulent times.
