The Guardian

I have found this app after Audible took the Romance Package away. Amazing app!! I have already read (listen) to this book before but it's a great story. I do love the fact the author has gone to Skye and has seen the breath taking views. It comes out in the writing. Yes the "romance" is kinda weak but it's ok because the story is what captures you. The characters come to life. What's also great is the story of the 4 highlanders continues with more books. Yes! I enjoyed this I do hope you give it a chance and try it. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Cute story. I agree with the other review that the mature scenes are not overwhelming but a perfect amount to build romance in the story. I did want to smack Ian a few times because of how oblivious he was. It was almost like the way he was described and a younger man was a hero but the person in part of the story was a totally different person. I am excited to read the rest of the series since there has been a good amount of character development in the people that will be in the next books. Male narrator can sometimes be a bit awkward when making women’s noises but overall he’s a good narrator.

I liked this story. It moved along and had a great plot. The mature scenes were not overwhelming and aided in the storyline. I’m intrigued to listen to the rest of the series.

About 3.5 my first by this author. Will read more.
