Clay Perkins, a young man in his twenties, realized that this sleepy midwest town was too small to support his undertakers' venture. Upon reaching Dallas, his sister Dolly tells him she has made plans to go west with a wagon train accompanied by her new love interest, a former deputy marshal. Clay, his father and brother all decide to also go along and begin a new life homesteading in the Montana territories.
