Unabridged Audiobook
Only the last 1/3 of the book is about what the title says. It was interesting and had a lot of great insight and ideas. The first 2/3 is all the technical and scientific findings and statistics. Great if that's what you're looking for, but the title is misleading. The narrator was okay but parts of it definitely sounded like she used an AI version of her voice.
While offering various insights, this book is tainted by dubious assumptions masquerading as scientific certainties. The author frequently shields her opinions with the assertion, "you may not like it, but it's true," discouraging dissent. Attempting to derive absolute truths from personal observations of nature, she endeavors to convince readers that disagreement arises from an unwillingness to accept these purported truths. For those intrigued by neurotransmitters, I suggest "Dopamine Nation" as a more compelling read.
