Unabridged Audiobook
I understood the content and the dozens of references to research studies which attempt to turn the topic into scientific certainty, but I'm left disappointed by the lack of any insights which I didn't already have before listening to this work. Maybe it makes me a nihilist in the categories of archetypes described by the author. I had higher hopes based on reader ratings of this book.
Made me do some examining and reevaluation of priorities in my own life. Worth the time
Amazing !
Great.. People now a days really having a hard time being happy.. This book really helps
Not by any means a bad book, just better as an actual workbook than audiobook. Would recommend sitting down with a paper and pencil for this one. As a skeptic though, it does have me wondering what the outcomes of his methods would be for unconventional or unorthodox people. Great narrator, too!
The idea of having an equilibrium between short term and long term happiness, as well as self reflection to identify what actually makes you happy and what you are grateful is what I mainly took from this book, getting one great idea from a book is enough for a 5 star review, I’ve gotten more than one, this books deserves a 5 star review for me
Interesting book with some great points but I feel it would have resonated more strongly if it had been narrated in the author's own voice, especially when covering formative and personal experiences.
Nice book and thought-provoking
Loved it
