Enjoying this Highlander series. Narrator captures the story well.
In my opinion, the entire “Highland Guard” series is Monica’s best yet - perhaps even the best Highlander romance series I’ve encountered thus far! I admire all the historical research that went into these novels. Well worth a listen!
Story was not exciting and kind of predictable. Narrator makes the main male character sound like an old man, not like a young warrior.
It was intriguing. Don’t really care for male narrator. They seem to struggle to sound like girls. I will read more of this series.
