Summary
Do you have what it takes to be the person you want to be? This is a neat self help book in plain English by the New Thought Movement author Orison Swett Marden. He has included various essays on the principles he believes will lead to success in life. This book is a nice reading for any one who believes in "The golden opportunity you are seeking is in yourself. It is not in your environment; it is not in luck or chance, or the help of others; it is in yourself alone," which was one of Orison Swett Marden's famous dialogues. (Summary by sidhu177)

It is a inspiring and motivational book, filled with such nuggets that can cause a low man to think highly of himself

Wonderful book about what it truly means to live a life of character and success. Great listen for men and women alike. Will be reading with my sons when they’re old enough…

One of those books when you start it you aren’t sure, but by the end you are glad you did and realize it was written ahead of its time. I would have liked to read this book in my twenties. But maybe I would not have appreciated it as much as now in my fifties.

Inspirational to say the least, I wish I was made to read this book in school as appose to Shakespeare or other fictional books which hasn't helped me in the slightest. Another one in my recommend list especially to younger adults/teens
