Summary
On the night of the State Dinner honoring the Prime Minister of England, Oliver Stone is across from the White House in Lafayette Square. As the Prime Minister's motorcade drives by there is an explosion: a bomb has been detonated, in what looks like a terrorist plot directed at the President and the Prime Minister.

In the aftermath, British MI-5 agent Mary Chapman, an experienced, lethal operative with an agenda of her own, is sent to assist and coordinate with American authorities to uncover who was responsible for the bombing. Stone, together with Harry Finn and the rest of the Camel Club, are drawn into the investigation. But everything is not what it appears to be.

It seems that the mysterious attackers might have another target in their sights, and if the Camel Club is unable to stop them, the results would be nothing less than catastrophic.

This is another one of those books where I sat in my driveway until a CD finished because I was so deep into the book. This book is full of suspense, and I never saw the twists coming.

I always enjoy the Camel Club. This was a quality mystery with quite a twist at the end.

Just when you think you have it figured out there is another twist!

Great story. Starts off slow, but builds and builds and builds until you are on the edge of your seat. Fabulous characters. Loved it!

This is one of David's BEST novels - of the dozen or so of David's books I've read this one takes the gold ring. And better narrators would be difficult to find.

I have read all of the Camel Club books by Baldacci. Altho this one is not his best, its ending was good and he kept me wondering about who was the culprit. I would rent the next Baldacci if it comes along
