Great book! The narrator is a perfect fit. The plot is very captivating... and the authors ability to describe the characters and settings in a way that allows the reader to visualize, regardless of geographical and cultural knowledge, is incredibly well done!

I love the independence and ambition of the main character. She truly explores her flaws and tries to grow. It was a great exploration of family dynamics and hard decisions.

Enjoyed this read and being drawn into the colorful world of 1950s Jaipur. Excellent narration and the story’s characters made for compelling page turner. I look forward to reading the series
