Summary
Rose Wilder Lane was a newspaper reporter, free-lance writer, political activist, and the daughter of Laura Ingalls Wilder, author of the "Little House" series of popular children's books. In this biography of Henry Ford, Ms. Lane worked directly with Ford to tell his story from his birth to his founding of the Ford Motor Company and his use of modern assembly lines to mass produce his cars. The only thing that was annoying was how they repeated the book information each chapter.

Interesting up to a point. I got a little tired of Henry's philosophic musings. And nothing was said about his later anti-Semitic leanings.

Amazing man with an amazing story. A man before his time.

If all men were like Henry Ford this world would be perfect. Oh well. What a mighty good man.

Really enjoyed this book. The insight of Ford in business and life is applicable to today! would have wished it to be a little longer with more detail, but still great.

The book was good. Didn't dwell on anything and was a good overview. Henry Ford's way of looking at all situations is excellent. If only more managers could be like this. I nearly didn't listen to it because of the narrator but after I got past this it was ok.

I’m quite sure Ford wasn’t as altruistic as this book makes him out to be but his philosophy of life certainly seems to be exemplary and instructive.

I hated the fact that the narrator lists the title, author, publishing company and her name at the beginning of EVERY chapter.

Wow! What an incredible person. So wonderful that his story was made into a book, but it’s really too bad his ideas faded into obscurity. I wonder if the Ford Company still has similar philosophy’s.

Interesting but felt like I could have known him better with the time given. Not a lot on his family life or children

If you've read other books on Ford, you'll immediately realize the historical inaccuracies. But it's entertaining(and sometimes cringeworthy)!

The story is worth 5 stars. The constant repetition before each chapter was annoying. The narrator’s style was also a little annoying.

Learned so much about Henry Ford, and was amazed by his work ethic and 'socialist' sensibilities. So perplexing to try to understand how he then courted Hitler and the Nazis ...

Very, informative as well as a deeper look into the life as well as the nature of the life of Henry Ford, , that which I really never knew...I am very pleased with the narrator's expansion of the inept of the history about Mr. Henry Ford, and his mother ,father, sister, and two brother's, as they stuck with each other through the good times as well as when times got rough... HENRY Ford's father was stricked, to a fault, but when it came down to having to let go and let his son follow his dream, by saying, well son you know where your home is, your always welcome to come back home when you are ready, son go follow you know what you want ,God get son.. that almost brought tears to my eye.. Awesome story, I highly recommend reading this book
