HER WICKED HERO (Black Dawn Book 4) By Caitlyn O’Leary Her Wicked Hero starts off with an intense bang and it continues throughout the story! This is one of my very favorite books that Caitlyn O’Leary has written, it has nonstop suspense, intrigue, drama, angst, and the intensity is through the moon. This story is about Dante (Zed) Zaragoza (who is probably one of the best heroes ever!) and Marcia Price (who is very self sacrificing for the family she is with). When Zed sees a picture of Marcia he has a premonition that she will be very important to him. It starts out in the jungle with Marcia being captured by a monster who has been a trained seal and now a seal, Zed is hunting him in order to rescue Marcia. This is the 4th book in this series, but you do not have to have read the previous they can be standalone. This is a 5 star read! Aiden Snow is once again the narrator for Caitlyn’s book. He has the most awesome, distinctive voice. He has been around for a long time and has narrated books for many popular authors.

Again the Narration was one that enjoyed, II could listen to his voice all day :) I really enjoyed this book, I love Dante ‘Zed’ Zaragoza who was introduced in Book 3, which I also enjoyed very much, well I have found I have enjoyed all of the books I’ve read that Ms O’Leary has written, the writing, characters and worldbuilding transport you away, to where Hero’s exist. Marcia was a tough cookie, calm under pressure, but she didn’t mind a helping hand, as long as Zed understood, she was capable of looking after herself. The storyline has plenty of twists and turns to keep me entertained. But the spark between Zed and Marcia really had me hooked, they were just a great team together. If you enjoy books with a military theme, then you will enjoy reading this series, I know I did and I look forward to more of the Black Dawn team in the near future.

I adored this story! Loved their connection, their sparks, their attitude! Jungle rescues are also a favorite adventure of mine and this one delivered! Marcia reminded me alot of myself, and I think that's why I connected so well to her, even if some things made me squint my eyes at her. lol. And Zed swept me..er....Marcia off her feet and it just melted me! Another thing I loved is the bond of brotherhood and family that is displayed so wonderfully - and seems to be a common thread through all O'Leary books I've read. That makes these stories all the more enjoyable and addictive to me. I also relished my time listening to this narrator bring this story to life. He does an excellent job and stayed consistent with how I pictured the events in my head.

Absolutely love Marcia and Zed!! This book is action packed from start to finish. So much going on but it all gels together very well.

An excellent book. Filled with plenty of steam, action, suspense and danger to grab and keep your interest. Zed and Marcia have great chemistry and fit together beautifully as a couple. I loved the attraction and emotional connection between these two. These are two complex characters and very different from each other, but that was part of their great appeal as a couple. A truly pleasurable read.The narrator does an excellent job in bringing the story to life and delivers another excellent performance for this series.

This audiobook is part of a series, and though it’s considered a standalone I truly believe you would benefit from reading/listening to the previous books. Characters from them show up, and at times can be a little confusing on identifying who’s who. This story is at times sweet, filled with action, bad guys and hunky good guys, some humor and a “six sense or feeling”. Both Navy SEAL Zed and Marcia are likable and the plot complex. Was it my favorite story, no, but it’s a good one for an afternoon read.
