Thank you Mr Comey for the book. Your narration. Integrity and loyalty you have given to your country. I loved the book, it made me reflect on my own life and the purpose I played in my leadership as a nurse. I also kept notes when talking to superiors and subordinates for later reference. Taught to me by my mentor as a student in 1967. Thank you again Sir. I wish you nothing but the best in what ever you chose to do. But in the mean time enjoy your family and their love for you. Thank you, James Comey, for writing this book. It gave me, a common citizen, a perspective from behind the (blue or gold) curtains that I normally wouldn't have access to. It was hard to reconcile the Hillary Clinton 2016 loss, but I knew I didn't have enough information to just go around and start blaming you. Her book plus your book, gives me peace about the past and the hope needed for the future that I want my son to have. All the best. Great storytelling & narration. First, I would like to thank Mr. Comey for the dedication of service to this wonderful country. I enjoy reading/listening to the pivotal points of his life that developed him into the great leader that he is today. I laughed, Cried, and finally got clarity on the 2016 election. Mr. Comey for President 2020 wishful thinking....Lol ????????

Your words and information brought clarity to why things happened the way it did regarding the election and the shooting of Michael Brown. I am listening to it for the second time! Barbara M. For anyone looking for a hero in this political climate, I recommend James Comey. He is a person of honor and deserves the respect that few people in government today deserve. This was the best audio book I've listened to all year. His narration added immensely to the emotional impact of the events in the book. His comments on leadership should be required reading for all those who espouse to be leaders someday, and an absolute requirement for those who hope to serve this country in any aspect of government service.

As someone who has always been fascinated with the intelligence and justice departments of our government and well read in both fiction and non-fiction in those subjects, this book was absolutely riveting. Mostly because it reads like fiction but unfortunately is all too real. I say listen to it because it was read by James Comey himself and paints an unbelievable picture of what goes on behind the scenes in the White House that would rival that of Jackson Pollock and Picasso.
Very well written and intriguing. I absolutely love when an author also narrates the audio book, really adds to the story.
This is one of the most powerful reads I’ve read in a very long time. I admire the strength and absolute loyalty of James Comey. I also thank him for the service to this country. We’ve lost a true patriot. The injustice revealed in this book is mind boggling. This country is better then that. Only the best to Mr. Comey and his family.
Writing is great. Narration is good too. I always prefer memoirs to be read by the author. Excellent story of his whole life, not just the recent events. Also solid advice for leaders. Comey appears to be a wonderful person. Highly recommend.

Captivating and honest. This book gave an insight on main topics that had huge effects on the election, processes, ethics, lines crossed and the importance of separation of the FBI and relationships to the president. I really enjoyed this book, well written.
Whether or not you agree with Former Director Comey’s handling of the Clinton email “matter”, the book gives good insight into his background and insight, as well as knowledge into governmental checks and balances. A worthwhile listen.
