Good book with a happy ending. There are a lot of characters. I’ll go back and listen to it again to pick up more of the details. The narrator did a good job. His voice and pitch were perfect for the main character in the book.
This book has great characters, including the village itself. The narrator is Irish and so you feel as if you are in the village with all of the characters. The plot is a “whodunit” and is quite enjoyable. Mix in a little occult, the main character can see the dead, and you have a great Irish yarn.
I would listen to this book again (and not just to hear the narrator’s fabulous accent). The story had humor, darkness, and depth. I miss the feel of it now that it’s over.
Hurtle is correct. Weird book, hard to follow storyline.
