Unabridged Audiobook
I absolutely loved *His Only Wife*! The book provides a fascinating perspective on Eastern marital relations intertwined with the vibrant essence of Ghanaian culture. I appreciated how the author incorporated cultural terms and colloquialisms, which encouraged me to do a bit of research and deepened my connection to the story. It’s a compelling read, blending rich cultural elements with soapy drama that’s perfect for enjoying in any of your favorite reading spots. Highly recommended!
Very good book the plot twist took me by surprised. Wished we would have got more at the end though
I absolutely love this book. A great read
⭐️4.3 ⭐️ Wasn’t sure how to review this book! I found this book super entertaining in the sense that I was intrigued by the cultural exploration of Ghanaian women and the dramatized of such roles (this book read itself like a movie). I’m not sure of the cultural accuracy of the book’s depictions; however, I do feel the main character’s hardships and family pressures regarding her role as a women and a wife could resonate with women of all cultures. Though some of the plot points fell through or felt unrealistic and I was frustrated with most of the characters’ personalities, this didn’t lessened my enjoyment of the novel. The main character’s strength and tenacity was inspiring and a good reminder that no matter what, you should stay true to yourself and have courage to stand up to things that don’t feel right! I would recommend to anyone looking for a entertaining non-romance light read.
