Unabridged Audiobook
As a student of history, having earned a B.A. in History, this book does a very good job of covering the minutia of events from the late Roman Period ~300 A.D. (or C.E. if you prefer) to this first Crusade. She takes time to touch on a couple thing in the America's, spent more time with India and Southeast Asia, she touched on the Sassanid, Selucid, and Bactrian's, and and spent considerably more time on China than I expected. For those not already somewhat familiar with the historical overview of these areas, this book is more advanced and you may need more general background before reading this. Even then access to maps and keeping times and places in order is required imho.
I have to put something here. Good book.
