Unabridged Audiobook
Trigger warning for child loss. Shouldn’t have read this while pregnant. Started slow and runs long, but the ending is satisfying.
Not one character in this book was likable. The character development was too all over the place. The author could have built up the plot with less than 4000 chapters of the why me attitude and more interaction between the couple. Everything that was core to the story was rushed and predictable and all the in between droned on and on!!
The narrator was good. It was frustrating listening to the main character and how lost she was-that could’ve been shortened just felt like being dragged through too much self loathing. twist was fast and interesting.
I was thoroughly surprised by this book. I couldn’t stop listening. It was tragic but I loved the ending.
Overall, it was interesting. The characters weren't likable. The extreme feelings that changed on a dime were suspect. It's thought-provoking.
A little confusing in the beginning when you’re learning the characters. I wish the narrator had a wider range of voices for the different characters. Overall a good read with a good twist.
