Wasn’t my favorite book. I skipped thru most chapters and don’t think I missed anything when I listened to the lady chapter.

This was a very nice listen. I enjoyed the story line and loved that half of the characters were Latinos! Which was a nice surprise! I found it surprising that Katie was able to continue on with the lie, when in real life, I feel like someone would have just told the truth and not get involved with family. Society, now and days, is terrified of committing and anything that comes with it. I loved the characters and how Matoe's mother and grandmother would go back and forth between loving Katie and questioning if she was being honest.
