Unabridged Audiobook
Good story but the music is flipping annoying. It's impossible to stay engaged.
Some parts of this book were very interesting and then there were a few parts in the middle that dragged a bit. At first I found the music scores at the end of the chapters to be odd but they grew on me. I think the story would have been a bit more powerful without the author trying to act as psychologist for himself and others. It felt like overkill for him to be diagnosing all of his family members with various labels after he found himself in therapy. Still it was a very interesting look at families, addiction and metal illness
Excellent writing, profound story. I couldn’t put it down.
