When two spirited 10-year-old best friends discover their time together is ending thanks to a sudden move to China, they hatch a bold, hilariously misguided plan to sneak away to Hollywood and star in a Netflix movie with their teen idol—armed with a Ouija board, a cardboard box, and a very hungry pet snake.

There's Angel, a firecracker with a beat-up bike, a TikTok dream, and a determination bigger than her small California town. And then there's Grace her ride-or-die BFF—logical, literal, and reluctantly game for Angel’s wildest schemes. But when Grace’s high-powered mom announces they’re moving to Shanghai, the girls refuse to let friendship fade without a fight.

Their outrageous plan? Sneak away in cardboard boxes on a FedEx truck, land in Hollywood, and star in a Netflix movie with their teen idol before Grace’s mom notices she’s gone. What follows is a nonstop comic adventure through Hollywood backlots, movie sets, and star-studded mishaps, all while evading a suspicious Russian groundskeeper, dodging grown-up nonsense, and crashing multiple movie productions.

But the fantasy of fame soon collides with real consequences—jealousy, betrayal, and the meaning of true friendship when Grace lands a part in a Danny Luver movie and Angel must decide what matters more: stardom or sisterhood.
