This is the third in the Little Britches series and another excellent book with amazing narration! We were a little perplexed at the beginning to find the first chapter seemed to be a synopsis of the previous book (Man of the Family) but figured out this book is essentially a detailed fleshing out of the time Little Britches spent on his summer away from home that is mentioned towards the end of the previous book. It took a little longer to get into bc of the summary of that book that it started with, but once we got into it we really enjoyed it. Once again, the narrator amazed us with the number of distinct voices he used for the different characters throughout the book.
