Unabridged Audiobook
Flip a pancake, this was brilliant! The story of a young woman living with fetal alcohol syndrome disorder, this uplifting novel is so well narrated that the listener feels as if Hope Nicely is dictating her own biography.
It took a while to attune my ear & mind to the "young, peppy, English" narrator. But once acclimated, I found this an uplifting, well crafted book, that's prompted me to research the writer to determine if she's autistic or perhaps the sibling, parent or teacher of a child or children with this "gift" or "syndrome" as the case may be.
I can’t get beyond 15 minutes due to the scattered main character.
