Twenty-three-year-old Clark Stevens is a college football player with NFL prospects, but he harbors a secret: he's gay and deeply closeted. His controlling, homophobic father has convinced him he's unintelligent and pushed him toward athletics as compensation. When Clark breaks his arm during a game and visits the ER, he meets Dr. Jody Williams, an out-and-proud trauma physician eleven years his senior. Despite their differences, intense attraction sparks between them. As they grow closer through tutoring sessions and secret meetings, Clark must navigate conflicting desires: his budding relationship with Jody versus protecting his football career and family relationships.
