Siding with a runway demon might not have been my smartest move. But what do they say about trying at first and not succeeding? After failing in my first mission for Lucifer, I never thought the Council would give me a second chance.

Those in power can get away with murder, literally. Could Hell’s only magicless demon do anything to find justice for Aries’s memory? If I discovered that answer, it’d have to wait. Seems Lucifer’s Council wants to turn me into a thief. I’ve got to team with my best friend and Hell’s worst nightmare to steal a powerful artifact from an influential wheeler-and-dealer. This is going to be one hell of a caper.

Betrayed by those I trusted most, I’m losing faith in demonkind. This new opportunity could rectify past wrongs… or will it make me wish for a worse fate—like being reborn as an angel?
