The Horror Writer's Nightmare: Some Stories Fight Back

What if the world’s most famous horror writer lost his muse… and his muse was a demon?

Eddie Crown has everything a horror author could want: fame, fortune, and a supernatural source of inspiration that has fueled his bestselling novels for decades.

Then he loses it.

(Or it loses him. We’re still not quite sure.)

When a seemingly ordinary baby blanket named Ralph disappears, Eddie’s writing career—or more accurately, his entire life—begins to unravel.

Bad for Eddie.

Then Martha comes along.

A small-town waitress just trying to get through her shift, she becomes the unfortunate soul who finds it.

At first, the blanket feels powerful.

Then come the nightmares.

The lost time.

The increasingly disturbing visions.

As Eddie races to recover the blanket and Martha struggles to understand what’s happening to her, both discover an unsettling truth:

Some stories fight back.

Fast-paced, darkly funny, and packed with twists, The Horror Writer’s Nightmare is a popcorn thriller novella that blends suspense, psychological horror, and a healthy dose of absurdity into a story listeners won’t soon forget.

Because sometimes the scariest monsters aren’t under your bed.

Sometimes they’re wrapped in a baby blanket.
