We drove again all day without a hill or a tree in sight, just scrubby desert plants and the curvature of the red earth in all directions. At camp that night we’d taken a turn off and found a billabong with lovely clear water where we were able to have a bath. I had mine before we ate. Brad was in the billabong swimming with a bar of soap after the meal and Gabe was cleaning up. It was his turn to do dishes.

I knew the men would be ready for a release again. Andy would have to go first, as I was sleeping with Brad again tonight.

“Hi,” I said to the guy, blushing at his beautiful blond surfer smile.

That was it, my plan was exhausted. I had no idea what else to say and couldn’t even mumble anything.

Andy took my hand and guided me into the back of the van. He knew I was his to do with as he pleased again. His eyes caressed me and his hand came to rest upon the small of my back. I lay there while he moved around me, examining me and ending up in front, facing me squarely. His eyes lifted from my legs to meet my gaze.

“Show me your body again,” he said, his tone polite but firm.
