Unabridged Audiobook
Stupid book. All about being politically correct and accepting everything and anything goes.
My wife recommended this book to me and I really dislike reading. I chose the audiobook option because happy wife happy life right? This book managed to hold my ADD attention span and I may or may not have finished it in record time. I really enjoyed the story line and it is very well narrated. The voices the narrator does are all unique and kept me focused. 10/10 would recommend this for people who have trouble staying focused and reading.
Fantastic fantasy, a kids dream I really enjoyed the characters and storyline Brilliant writing, very different from main stream
Absolutely loved this book! Great narrator and had me laughing out loud at certain parts.
This story felt a little too simplistic and cliché. It was very predictable with the plot. It just wasn’t my cup of tea. There were definitely moments in the story that made me chuckle and had some witty dialogue and creative characters however, overall it just felt like a children’s book that had some adult words in it. I lost interest fast and felt like I was forcing myself to finish the book.
Lovely, heart-warming story. Lucy was a riot. After finishing this, I’ve gone looking for more books by TJ Klune.
Great book
Juvenile fantasy, not quite young adult though I stopped halfway through. Good book but failed to keep my attention.
Beautifully wholesome and heartwarming book. Daniel Henning did a wonderful job bringing the characters to life.
Daniel Henning is Amazeballs.
I loved this book! It was just lovely and so sweet!
Heartwarming story line with the best narration! 10/10!
so pure and sweet! the most innocent, wholesome, hopeful thing I've heard in a long time.
It has a unique plot with interesting caricatures with a nice ending, I would like to see more caricature development In more than just the main caricature.
This book should be mandatory to learn about social inclusion
I hope to listen again. Lovely story.
Pleasant enough with incredibly low stakes and overly animated character voices. It was a highly anticipated listen that was a struggle to finish.
Love this book!!
I enjoyed the story & character growth. The narrator did an excellent job giving each character a unique voice.
My favorite book of 2022 so far!
The narration made this book!
Beautiful.
A wonderful, sweet, feel-good book :)
Great story, colorful characters and a really easy and fun read.
Many times since finishing this book I've wished I could erase my memory of it in order to go back and rediscover it for the first time. I lived vicariously through our conflicted and ultimately lovable protagonist as he met the inhabitants of the house on the Cerulean Sea. Every page of this novel is a joyfully immersive read. Loved it.
A gentle, sweet fantasy. Took me a little while to get into, but enjoyable in the end.
This book gives you all the feels. It’s the sweetest story with the most beautiful messages. Highly recommend!
A lovely, whimsical novel that surprised me with its fresh persperctive and heart.
This book is pure magic. The narrator did an excellent job representing each character so thoughtfully. “Don’t you wish you were here?” Why yes, yes I do!! I’ll be thinking about this book and it’s beautiful message for a very long time.
The best book of 2020!
Good until the last hour, which was horrible. I give the last hour a 2 rating. The ending was too "neat," predictable, and so overly filled with agenda writing that it suddenly was no longer about the book and became preachy. There were always underlying themes of equality, tolerance, and LGBT rights, which was fine. But the ending beat all those over the head so heavily and thickly that the last hour was unenjoyable. The author could have brought the themes across without ruining the plotline and overshadowing the characters.
