Unabridged Audiobook
Long winded Victorian tale with a twist of fantasy added that amounts to a lackluster story, don’t waste nine hours of your time.
Great narrator. Stupid Book.
Exquisite command of language and dialogue mastery . Characters were terrifically fleshed out and further brought to life by the brilliant narrative skills . A delightful investment if my time !
This wasn't a type of story I normally read but it was highly enjoyable. If there were more stories with the inspector and his Sargent I would read them The narration was good and I was able to keep the characters apart for most of the time, though sometimes the dialect made that difficult
Well narrated and the text at times is incredibly entertaining. I found the story line an unconvincing mix of mystery and science fiction and the characters are not as well developed as I’d like, but I listened and enjoyed it well enough. Again, hats off to the narrator who put interest into the text that would otherwise have been somewhat flat.
Very good mystery story all the way to the end. I’ll be on the lookout for the authors newest book coming out soon!
twists! Great narration and totally enjoyable. I would read more of these characters, for sure.
It was an OK mystery with somewhat decent Characters but for some reason it was hard for me to stay interested. I may try the next one in the series to see if it was just me.
Lack luster
