Unabridged Audiobook
I enjoyed this book very much! It was a very honest account of the authors life with her mother. It reflects her journey through much heartache and loss. Despite being in the shadow of such a larger than life, famous parent, she managed to become quite accomplished in her own right. She is the Mom to her kids that she always yearned for, and at the same time, even though she disparages herself as a daughter, I think she did the best she could , considering everything. Her story is compelling.
The Book talk of pain and was a pain to listen to The narration needed a professional narrator. It didn’t help understanding the content. I’m surprised the editor let it be published this way.
Raw, honest, powerful, important.
