My phone was ringing in the kitchen and I rushed to get it, but it was only an annoying telemarketing call. I heard Larry go out the front door, probably to put the cars away, I assumed. I remained naked in my kitchen, fussing around cleaning up after breakfast earlier and feeling strange and naughty being exposed. I wondered whether there would be any nude sunbathing or anything at the resort. There had been nothing like that ten years ago, as it was a popular family venue back then.

I heard voices coming from the front door and recognised it to be Mark talking with Larry. The screen door opened and closed. I heard their footsteps and their deep voices approaching through the lounge room. I grabbed my skirt and top from the counter and covered myself down below but dared to remain exposed above the waist.

The men rounded the brick wall and both stopped, staring at me.

I felt my blush fire up as I smiled.

“Hey,” Mark said and cleared his throat.

“Hi,” I said and glanced down at myself then back up. “It sounded like it was only you.”

“Yeah, only me. No need to dress up,” Mark quipped.

“Hmm, um.” I watched my husband’s face and met his gaze when he looked up from my display. “I was about to go and get dressed,” I told him.

He nodded and took a breath. “Yeah no Mark, just stopped by.”
