Unabridged Audiobook
It feels slightly odd to say this given the gravity of the topic, but this is one of the best books on climate change for sure. I read a lot of climate-related books for work, and I'd absolutely put this in my "top 5" list. Taking an emotional approach to climate issues is a terrific way to approach the topic, because feelings resonate so much more than facts, figures, fights in DC etc. do. The book is filled with highly accessible science that won't make you feel stupid, meaningful personal stories that will hold your attention, and LOTS for you to think about. Truly, it's a book I'd recommend to anyone who wants to not just understand how we got to where we are, what we're dealing with, and what we can do going forward, but who knows we can't make the big changes needed without really considering the emotional impact the climate crisis has on our lives. You might want to grab a tissue before reading the last chapter, by the way...
