Lewis Carroll’s The Hunting of the Snark is one of the great masterpieces of comic nonsense a wildly imaginative voyage in pursuit of a mysterious creature that may or may not exist. A strange crew of eccentric adventurers sets sail together, each bringing his own peculiar talents, fears, and obsessions to a journey where logic quickly gives way to absurdity.

Written with Carroll’s unmistakable wit, rhythm, wordplay, and surreal invention, the poem combines adventure, satire, fantasy, and dark humor. Beneath its playful surface lies a wonderfully strange meditation on obsession, uncertainty, ambition, and the human desire to chase the impossible. The closer the hunters come to their goal, the more mysterious and potentially dangerous the Snark becomes.

Narrated by Geoffrey Giuliano and The Rebellion, this spirited production gives Carroll’s eccentric characters and unforgettable language a vivid theatrical energy. Giuliano’s distinctive dramatic delivery captures the humor, mystery, and mounting madness of the expedition, bringing one of Lewis Carroll’s most original and enduring works brilliantly to life.
