This is an amazing book and a wonderful overview of the supernatural elements of early Hebrew and Christian theology that I found is rarely analyzed or discussed in contemporary organized religious settings. Michael S. Heiser was a gifted biblical scholar, and his books enhanced my understanding of early Hebrew and Christian beliefs through their eyes and in their world, of who God is, and the importance of Jesus Christ as a divine presence, and his teachings as a blueprint to our ultimate reunion with God. Although narrator, Gordon Greenhill, doesn't have the same voice as Michael Heiser, whose podcasts and videos abound on the internet, he has wonderful storytelling ability and captures all the nuances in this superb narrative. Whether you're a biblical scholar who wants to enhance your knowledge of scripture or a lay person who wants to make sense of it all, this book is for you. Hopefully it will lead you to Michael Heiser's other books.
