Unabridged Audiobook
I'm in the midst of an ongoing missed miscarriage (my first pregnancy) that has brought a failure of medication management, a procedure, additional medications, numerous ultrasounds and follow up appointments, and a whole lot of anxiety and grief. I still don't know the ultimate outcome or when my husband and I will be able to try to conceive again. I appreciate this book, as it has helped me through this process to learn how many other women have suffered similar circumstances and how they have been able to move forward in their lives afterward, including the author. I thought that this book was thoughtfully written and comprehensive. It's portrayal of pregnancy loss and the grief that follows is realistic yet hopeful. I think the author has a calming voice as a narrator. I would recommend it to anybody struggling with infertility or pregnancy loss, though be advised there are graphic details about miscarriage that some, especially those early in their journey, may find triggering.
