The absolute soul written into this book! The overwhelming truth

I accidentally purchased If I Was Your Girl and, honestly, I had no idea what the book was about when I started it. I was already committed to reading it, so I figured I’d give it a chance—and I’m really glad I did. This book completely surprised me. As I got further into the story, I found myself gaining insight into a perspective and experiences that I hadn’t really considered before. It opened my eyes and gave me a better understanding of what it can be like to navigate identity, acceptance, fear, love, and finding the courage to be yourself. Sometimes the books we choose aren’t the ones that teach us the most. This was definitely one of those unexpected reads for me. I went into it not knowing what to expect and came away with a deeper understanding and a lot to think about. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who is open to stepping outside of their usual perspective and experiencing a story that can teach you something along the way.
