I listened to the audiobook version of this story and it was very sweet. Chase and Scarlett's romance is one of those sweet love stories, full of funny banter, back and forth, hate to love moments that keep you warm on a cold night and makes you sigh over and over again. I love how much Chase worked to have Scarlett fall in love with him. I will say, there is no spice in this story but it was hardly missed. My favorite character had to be Rip, even he knew how to make me fall in love. The narration by CJ Bloom and Ryan West was great. They had great chemistry and really took the story up a notch.

First hockey book. Enjoyed the book it was a very cute story. I am a hockey fan and can understand FMCs frustration about being taken seriously. And the MMC was the right amount of cocky and being humble.

Unlikable and immature heroine. Instead of telling us how bad*ss the heroine is, actually show it. Yes, her job is admirable, but her unprofessionalism on the job was not. She acted like a child. Also, her reaction to the news about her new boyfriend was over the top and ridiculous.

This was a really sweet and playful romance story, I enjoyed the banter and playfullness of the two main characters, the scenes of yearning and desire was palpable as well.I really like it and the Narrarion was good as well.
