Great book, the last six chapters could’ve been wrapped up into two chapters.

Allie Shae (female narrator) was amazing! She brought so much emotional depth to her character. This story was a good modern day Princess rescued by her Prince - and steamy. I loved the focus of consent and how that can make all the difference within sexual encounters.

Love it! Way more realistic love interest and spice as some of dark romances out there! Well written( he falls for her not just her looks) , good plot twist, didn’t drag nonsense just to fill space,can be read as a complete standalone. The only thing that I couldn’t get past was the fact she kept saying his deep voice, but he doesn’t actually have one hers was deeper doing his lines as his but totally ok. Will listen to the rest of the series

Great book. Great narrators. Last few chapters could have been condensed.

it's my 1st try at listening to a book, so I don't have prior experience. As to the book it self, it's nice. very much type of mafia style books, I found a lot of missing stuff in the plot (we still don't know who Draco is, Tatiana, or Emil. Why Charlotte was taken from the start or why Vlad married her and not just kept her... Why her father.... idk... As someone looking for plot it bothered me. I kept feeling I missed an earlier book or chapters), but the main characters are written nice and their story unfolds and it's spicy if that's your thing. Some spicy scenes seemed weird to me (like, the games build up seemed much more cruel then it was , and the reason for the games is non sense and an after thought if I dare say so). But I liked their story, loved his nickname for her, I found my self wipe a tear and chuckle with them. their story is well told and you get into it. As for the narrator's. it took me a while to get used to the accents, especially the Russian ones, it was very 'bond films evil', further I kinda didn't like when a male voice did the woman lines, I get that each has his chapter, but if she reply (or he) they could have recordered that line in the right voice or say it in the correct voice and add "she replied" or "said/whispered/moaned/screamed" and not do the squeeqie voice as the male narrator trying to make a female voice while we KNOW she sound differently... But as a whole, I liked it
