Unabridged Audiobook
I loved this book! I had already watched the Netflix series so I was familiar with the story. But the book of course went into further details of the men convicted and the women who were killed. I will recommend this book to everyone! Also, I love Craig Wasson! He is an excellent narrator! I finished this book in 2 days and was sad when it ended. Loved it!
Interesting true story; also good insight as to how the mentally ill can easily end up cycling back and forth between healthy and ill. I could feel the despair Ron had of being incarcerated, with no control over his fate and knowing he’d done nothing wrong. It had to be excruciating and no wonder his mental health deteriorated. The injustices and suffering he and Dennis endured because of lazy or corrupt prosecution was outrageous. I am in full support of people having to pay for their crimes, but I’m also glad there is an organization that advocates for those unjustly convicted of crimes they did not commit.
I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED GRISHAM AND HIS BOOKS AND JUST WANT TO KEEP LISTENING TO HIM TO BUT I'M HAVING TROUBLE WITH GETTING HIS BOOKS ON THE FREE AUDIO BOOKS I ONLY SIGNED ON FOR
Eye opener! Innocent people serving life sentences?!?! Non-Fiction! Unfathomable! Inconceivable!
I just love John Grisham, another fine example of a justice system hard at work… so scary!! These kinds of things happen far too often.
Great listen
To walk this man's journey through the eyes of John Grisham was both inspiring and infuriating. It read like a mystery. Loved!!
I enjoyed the book, although, I was saddened by the behavior of the prosecutor and the investigators. I fear that the results from these types of convictions may be more common than I had previously believed. The narrator did a great job of creating the feeling that I was present in the event.
