Loved it

One of the best thrillers around. Fast paced, edge of your seat kinda stuff. Unfortunately the narration is not great but the material was still able to shine. get this one today!

Not for me

Still one of my favorites of Dean Koontz. I always enjoy this book, but listening to it was a great experience.

This book was an exercise in minute for minute agony. The writer describes every thought and emotion and pain and difficulty as the subject overcomes the evil killer, exercises the demons of her youth and frees the victim. While technically proficient and the plot ambitious, it is exhausting to listen to a story that could be told in two hours far better. I do NOT recommend this book to anyone.

It was predictable and kinda goofy

The story was a bit too intense for me to enjoy, but it was well-written, with some powerful insights. Quite violent.

the name says it all...it's very intense! It has you on the edge of your seat throughout the book and makes it hard to quit listening.

Truly intense and inescapable!!

I’ve read this book several times! It’s VERY INTENSE! However the narrator was bland. So monotone I almost didn’t listen after the first paragraph! Get a narrator with a little inflection in her voice and this would be an awesome listen! Next time I’ll just read it myself!
