Great book

Love this book definitely taught you how to do intercessory prayer for people you know and don't know.

I am currently listening to the audio book, Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets.Before reading this book I would have to say that my prayer life was sporadic at best. The main reason was that I had this nagging doubt that my prayers weren't making much of a difference in my life or the lives oother people that I was interceding for. As a result I wasn't praying with the full confidence that I needed. I had to be sure that God was listening to my prayers and that He was taking the appropriate actions after hearing them. What I was looking for was a book that would answer my issues with prayer and intercessation. In Intercessory Prayer Dutch Sheets both asks and answers the hard questions that believers are asking.In answering these questions Dutch explains and emphasizes the importance and necessity of prayer and intercessation. He makes it clear that God needs our prayers so that He can make things happen. In other word we are to be co-laborers with The Lord, Without our full cooperation by way of fervent prayer we are greatly limiting the Power that He can release. I have founnd Intercessory Prayer to be a real eye opener and DutchSheets has convinced me that if I pray fervently consistently and have patience will begin to see results from my prayer life. Dutch Sheets is a scholar but he writes in a very clear manner, skillfully utilizing many examples and anecdotes so that this book is easy to read and to listen to. I highly recommend this book.
