Unabridged Audiobook
Tedious storyline, nothing original or interesting. Main character and her love interest not particularly likeable either. Some parts of it were cringeworthy.
The book was okay. I think it was trying too hard to fit into so many different categories that it just didn’t quite get there. The narrator was fine, the only thing I didn’t like was the tone of her voice was lower such that when I was driving and listening (which is how I listen to audiobooks) I couldn’t hear her voice over the sounds of the road. I had to turn it up very loud and didn’t love that.
This is a very sweet story! I loved traveling through the descriptions on each page. Narrator was awesome!
I really enjoyed this. Some really nice visual descriptions of the Cornish region and a gentle romantic story.
Easy listen as the story unfolds… brought back memories of my visit to Cornwall.
Nothing happened in this book. The plot structure was so flat. There were many opportunities for character development and plot development that just did not happen.
Great romantic story and very good narrator.
While the the writer is descriptive and does bring the views into your mind, the context itself put me to sleep. The main character is exasperating and continues to make questionable decisions and then dwelling on them constantly. I couldn't keep listening. I did like the narrator and listening to her accent. It's about the only thing I appreciated.
