Abigail presents a case for caution in the transgender world with great compassion and intelligence. She is obviously a great writer and I am glad she has taken the risks that come with sharing her research with us. It will be interesting to see the arguments of those who claim that the book is transphobic. Do they have any beyond childish exclamations? Bullsh?t? Why? Explain. I am listening. The narrator was flawless.

This book was extremely informative. Abigail Shrier was the perfect person to write this book and she nobly, bravely, and eloquently explained how the hugest cult that the west has ever seen is targeting our adolescent girls.

This book presents the issues thoughtfully, respectfully, and well researched. Such an important book, especially for parents, girls, and women. One of her last sections in the book on valuing womanhood is especially compelling and powerful!

Ms. Shier has composed a thought provoking and norm challenging book. To pen a scribe so boldly truthful in today's world that demands we act like the subjects in The Emperor's New Robe who must not speak of the obvious lies.

Great book looking carefully at aspects of transgenderism that are not being discussed publicly as our daughters carry the weight of this craze themselves.

I won't bother you with my beliefs, background or the stories of the transgender people in my family. The author offers a balanced and well researched tool that you won't find anywhere else. She interviews people on both sides, provides insight into the beginnings of this phenomenon with it's connections to the past - all with compassion and honesty. If you've read in a review that she's biased, well, maybe. She is concerned for our daughters. What's wrong with that, I'd like to know? I guess I will say that I have 2 grown daughters and work at a high school so I can confirm all that she said in regards to schools. Schools are hiding these things from parents and are providing life altering information and resources with no regard to the future and, sadly, most parents don't care but if you've read this far, you do. Parents need to stop being friends and be parents. Be informed and involved. If you are too close minded to read this book than you are exactly who needs to read this.

Abigail does what a journalist is supposed to do. She conducts interviews on topic. She interviews popular trans people, parents, medical staff, and distills the data and presents it. This is a really important topic. It's worth a listen or two.
