Unabridged Audiobook
The author is hilariously ignorant of history. FDR /was/ a fascist and a racist who attained near-dictatorial powers through the NIRA act of 1933, which turned the US into a state with a centrally planned economy in which corporations still existed, but prices and production were determined by the government. That is literally the definition of a fascist state. This was not surprising; the entire progressive movement leaned fascist in those days, seeking to move power out of the hands of the "ignorant" populace and into the hand of Ivy-league "experts", who would run a centrally-planned economy according to their Ivy-league ethics. FDR said he admired Mussolini, and Mussolini said he admired FDR (for his strong-arming of American democracy!) The supreme court declared NIRA unconstitutional in 1935, so FDR tried to seize dictatorial power by passing legislation to let him add enough of his own stooges to the Supreme Court to control it. Oh, yeah, and he ordered the internment of Japanese Americans, appointed a leader of the KKK to the Supreme Court, and refused to end segregation in the US military.
