The narrator didn’t do it for me and honestly, I didn’t care about any of the characters and the outcome.

The story drags on- the scenes are just too wordy and overly descriptive.

I did not think I would make it through this book based on the first few chapters. I find it very annoying when the thought processes of a character such as Courtney consume so much of the book. I found myself wanting to move along with the story! Many of the thoughts were repetitive and obvious. I must admit this got better as the book went along and overall, I enjoyed the plot and the twist at the end. I found the narrator to be a little too enthusiastic.

Story was ridiculous in my opinion, with so many different unnecessary characters thrown in to try and confuse reader! I finished listening only because I don't like wasting a credit but found myself fast-forwarding often! And narration was sub-par!

Very slow...first book I haven't finished in quite a while. I wound up googling the ending because I just couldn't put more time into it.

Love Mary Kubica. Another binge worthy book full of twists until the very end! Would definitely recommend!
