Every Halloween at sunrise, a spooky haunted house appears across the bay from Newt Castle, only to disappear again at the stroke of midnight. Naturally, Ivy's parents have forbidden her to investigate, but the ever-curious Ivy and Tom set out to solve the mystery! On the way, they stumble upon an imprisoned witch, a powerful (and cranky) sorcerer, and a curse they must break before time runs out...
