This was one of the first books that I ever read in high school and it is still one of my favorite love stories. The narrator did a wonderful job capturing the spirit of Jane Eyre. I would listen to this again in a heart beat!

Great narrator! Having only watched the (many) movies I was pleasantly surprised at the expanded details in the book. Yes, 18+ hours is a long listen but well worth it (I listen on my way to and from work). I could easily picture Elizabeth Klett as Jane, at every age. I forgot what a great author Charlotte Bronte was. I'm off to download her other classic novels (both Elizabeth as narrator and the Brontes as authors).

I enjoyed listening to this book and thought the narrator did an excellent job. My only negative comment would be that if we didn’t know it was a LibriVox recording after the first chapter we certainly knew it by the 35th chapter. Is it really necessary to let us know it is a LibraVox recording and it is the public domain after each chapter? It almost makes me not want to listen to anymore of their recordings.

Had not gotten around to reading this classic before. Great fun listening to it! Often when reading I tend to skip over words, that later proved important. Listing to it being read not a word is missed.

At first I had trouble getting into the book because I had trouble grasping the storyline. But, because I knew already I would love the narrator I stayed listening long enough to get into the story. Once I was in I couldn't stop listening. The story was heartbreaking and heartwarming. I fell in love. I completely recommend both the book and the narrator.

I loved this. Not my usual choice of books at all but I fancied a change and as I never read any works of Bronte I went for this as my free choice. The story was enjoyable read by the very soothing voice of Elizabeth Klett.

Stellar narration. Ms. Klett has found her calling. The book though, despite it's classic stature is long winded and tedious. A moderately interesting story, its value lies in the underlying message of women's right to exercise free will.
