'absolutely bonkers' Alison Hammond, This Morning

Joe Marler’s brain works like no-one else’s. Goes to places others cannot go. Gets stuck in strange eddies, makes leaps from established human knowledge to strange new frontiers. Finds angles and tangents where others find only dry facts and dead ends.

That’s what makes Joe Marler vs the World so entertaining.

You thought you knew about the world. You realised you only understood a little about Joe, although you’d rather fallen in love with him after Celebrity Traitors. Now you’re about to have your head filled with fresh wonder at both – and, for the first time, truly look at the marvels and minutiae all around you as only Joe Marler does.

No boundaries. No preconceptions. A natural sense of fascination and fun. Not a great deal of formal education. A desire to know more.

It’s a tour that makes no sense until it does: from deep space to the deep blue seas, from the paranormal to evolution and AI. In partnership with Joe’s mate and podcast co-host Tom Fordyce, we take in love, sex and death and we deep-dive into swearing, modern art and the music of Adele.

And, because this is Joe, it’s not just high jinks and easy japes. It’s the harder stuff, too – the challenges, the mistakes, the misadventures, the lessons learned.

Occasionally messy. Quite often hysterical. Always endearing. This is Joe Marler exploring the world. Come along with him. And please bring some meat-based snacks.
